Ronald Dickinson

Passed peacefully on 17 March 2026, aged 92.

A true people person, cake lover, and always the wittiest in the room, he brought joy to those around him and will be dearly missed.

Loved husband of the late Marie and Ina, much loved father and father-in-law of Kevin and Sarah, Murray and Stephanie, Alan and Maree, and Warren and AJ, and a proud and treasured Grandad of Andrea, Daniel, Crystal, Katie, Ben, Mikayla and Jorja, and great-grandad to his great-grandchildren.

Ron was a kind and compassionate man who loved all his boys and his grandchildren.I have many fond memories of Ron when he was married to my sister Marie and later to Ina be it holidays at Riversdale, Paraparam with Marie, or Lake Rotoiti in the later years with Ina.He was so lucky to have had the love of two beautiful ladies and all his boys and grandchildren. Oh What a lucky man he was.
He will be sadly missed by all
