Passed away suddenly on August 21, 2025. Beloved son of the late Leslie and Elspeth Macdonald. Loved brother and brother in law of David (deceased), Ian and Marie.

Loved Uncle of Jennifer and Mane, Kim, Fiona. Great Uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Alistair’s life will be held in the Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street Napier on Thursday 28 August 2025 at 11am, followed by a private cremation.

Life

Life is a stepping stone
A pause before we make it home,
A simple place to rest and be,
Until we reach eternity,
Everyone has a life journey,
A path we take with lots to see,
God guides our steps along the way,
But we were never meant to stay,

Our final destination is a place filled with love, his majesty and grace.
Today we celebrate the life of Uncle Allistar
Who has gone before us, His journey has now ended
And his spirit has ascended
