To Clive's family, the year was 1967, for a few years prior we had been working on my Ford Anglia 105E doing what young blokes did in those days. Clive had been trying different cam shafts in the Anglia looking for small gains. Came the day the 11th of November 1967 the Bridge Par Sprint, the car was ready the marshal gave all clear and I gave it everything, the result 17.0 seconds for the standing quarter mile and 100 mph through the flying 10th.Thanks Clive we all appreciated what you did and admired where you went.
