Hi my mongrel, where’s your mongrel? (that’s what papa used to say to me whenever he used to come and pick me up). Without a doubt, he would always bring a bag of oranges, a packet of chocolate biscuits and a small can of pringles before he used to pick me up and take me out till whatever time he decided I wanted to drop me home! (Never mind what mum said)
I’ll forever treasure those memories papa!
I love you so much, and I wish I would’ve gotten the chance to know you better! But thank you Papa! Thank you for our beautiful whanau, thank you for our strength, our stubbornness and our noses! (We all have that Hiko nose!)
I love you papa ??
