Douglas Robert Henricksen

13.12.39 – 17.10.14 Peacefully at home with his family. Dearly loved husband of Margaret. Father and father-in-law of Kathryn and Chris Drake; Robert and Ryan; Scott; Sarah; and Alana Scott. Grandfather of Jae and Jared Henricksen. Loved son of Bob (deceased) and Hetty Henricksen. Brother and brother-in-law of Nancy (deceased) and Larry Bates; Barbara Henricksen and Paul Reynolds; and Colin and Kaye Henricksen. Loved Uncle of his nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Doug’s life was held in The Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street, Napier on Thursday October 23 at 2pm followed by a private cremation. My thoughts are with you at this sad time.
It's been a long time since the days at Wimbledon primary school, I will always remember the Hendricksen family.
I worked at Hill Country Lamb with Doug (Henry) in the late 90's, he was the master in the "Play Pen" as it was known, feeding the stock up the ramp.
Loved your stories & funny stuff you would bring to work..... RIP Doug.
You were very respected by your peers.
