It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bryn Daniel Hutchinson, aged 33. A beloved father to Isla-Jane, cherished partner of Jamelia, and much-loved son and stepson of Jackie and Peter Matson and Chris Hutchinson and Christine O’Neill. A treasured brother to Josh and Jennah, treasured stepbrother to Olivia and a dearly loved grandson, nephew, cousin, and uncle. Family and friends are warmly invited to join us in celebrating Bryn’s life and farewelling him at Dunstalls Memorial Chapel, 19 Edwardes Street, Napier, Friday 21st August at 11am. Please know that we can feel the heartbreak the whole family are suffering. Such a tragedy taking a loved son, brother, cousin, nephew and Daddy too soon. Devastated that we cant be there but will be in spirit. Fly high and watch over all your loved ones.

To the Hutchinson family,

I would like to send my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you all on the devastating loss of Bryn.

To my love, my partner, and the father of our beautiful girl,
Eight beautiful years with you gave me memories I will carry in my heart for the rest of my life. You were my love, my best friend, my partner, and the person I shared so much of my life with.
And then, nine months ago, you became a dad. Watching you step into that role and love our little girl was something I will forever treasure. She may have only had you for a short time, but you gave her a lifetime of love in those nine months. You will always be her daddy, and I will make sure she grows up knowing just how deeply you loved her.
I wish we had more time. More memories. More ordinary days together. More moments of watching you be the dad you were meant to be. It hurts beyond words knowing that you won’t be here to watch our girl grow, but I promise she will always know you. I will tell her about your love, your laugh, your heart, and the place you will forever hold in both of our lives.
You were loved deeply, and you will be missed more than words could ever explain.
Thank you for eight years of love, for the memories, and most of all, for giving me our beautiful girl.
