Passed away peacefully at home after a long but courageous battle with cancer aged 56 years.

Adored by his loving wife, Sarah, his three sons, Finn, Jake, and Max, and his delightful new wee granddaughter, Mae.

Loved son of Janice and Lyn (dec); brother of Gaylene, Warren, Shawn (dec), Justin, and Sharlene.

During his final days,

he was surrounded richly by family and friends,

and embraced with love and laughter .

A very special thanks to Dr James Newman, Mr Bertrand Jaufrett and the rest of the team at Hawke’s Bay DHB, the trials team at Auckland DHB, and Cranford Hospice staff for their compassionate and unwavering care of Craig.

A time to celebrate Craig’s life will be held at St. Johns’ College, Jervois Street, Hastings, on Saturday, 28 February, 2026, at 1 pm.  A live stream will be available at  www.dunstalls.co.nz .  In lieu of flowers, donations to Cranford Hospice would be gratefully received and may be left at www.cranfordhospice.org.nz/support-us/donate/ or the entrance to the Service.
