Brian passed away peacefully on 2 nd  January 2026. Loved husband of the late Suzanne, father and father-in-law of Hamish and Andrea Yule and Rosemary and Doug Brodie. Grandfather to his much-loved Grandchildren – Callum, Elise and Will, Marcus and Rosie, and Monique Yule and Courtney, Angus and Sam Brodie. Adored great grandfather to Philippa (Pippa). A life well lived.

A memorial service to celebrate Brian’s life was held at the Eskdale War Memorial Church at 1pm, Monday 12 th  January 2026. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Eskdale War Memorial Church.

I have just watched Brian's service on livestream, so sorry I couldn't be there. Have fond memories of Barney as my brothers called him, he would visit our place many times to play table tennis with the boys who all grew up with him in the Esk Valley. Our deepest sympathy to you all,

Sad to hear that Brian has passed away., really enjoyed working for and with him in the late 60s.

I am saddened by the news of Uncle Brian's passing. Work commitments made it so I was unable to attend. I am forever thankful of the rural experience I got as a child and nephew/cousin of the Yules in Eskdale. Some of my fondest childhood memories. Now Brian and Suzanne are back together again. Love and condolences to everyone
