Passed away peacefully at Hawkes Bay Regional Hospital on 14 May 2025, surrounded with love.
Dearly loved wife of the late Ian.
Loved mother of Judy and Stan, Jenny and Dave (deceased), Garry, Grant, Allan (deceased), and Jilly and Pete. Much adored nana, great nana and great great nana.

A memorial service to celebrate Marie’s life will be held at the Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street, Napier on Saturday 7 June at 1pm.

God bless you Marie, we will always remember how you were always immaculately dressed, the neat BBQ's at the Fire Station, your gentle caring beautiful nature that you have also given to your family. I did not know my Great Nana all that well, but I do remember the letters I would get and sweet cards for Holiday's growing up. You will be missed. My children, your Great Great Grandchildren, will know of your kindness and sweet heart. Always remembered.

to all that knew my mum my Family Grand and Great Grandmother to our children, She was a wonderful person although the miles apart always kept in touch and knew all their names. Mum you will be sadly missed by us all and memories will live on. .
