It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Leo, aged 82 on Tuesday 15 August, 2023, surrounded by his family.   Loving husband, best friend and love to Mia, amazing Dad to Esther and Jasper (Tauranga), and Aschwin and Leanne (Kapiti), and Opa to his seven grandchildren Cameron, Tyler, Ryan, Lara, Logan, Samantha, and Daniel.   The family would like to sincerely thank the wonderful support from Cranford Hospice.   In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Cancer Society.   A private cremation has been held.   A celebration of Lei’s life was held at St Thomas More Catholic Church, 92 Wycliffe Street, Napier on Tuesday 22 August at 10:30am.  Messages to the Gehlen family C/o PO Box 1055, Napier, 4140.
