Passed away peacefully on 5 th August 2023, aged 76 years.

Dearly loved husband of Beryl and father of Matthew and Christine, and Janiene. Loved Poppa to Zoe and Joel.

A thank you to the staff at Hastings Hospital for their care of Daryll.

A celebration of Daryll’s life was held at Knox Presbyterian Church, cnr of Macaulay and Waghorne Streets, Ahuriri, Napier, on Friday 11 August 2023 at 1pm followed by private cremation.

Sad to learn of Daryll's death last week. I was both privileged and fortunate to have Daryll as my boss on two occasions early in my career with the National Bank. A great mentor who taught me much. Always enjoyed his sense of humour. Condolences to Beryl, Matthew, Christine and families.

Dear Beryl and family, I was saddened to learn of Daryll's passing. He was a great guy and I enjoyed very much working with him (NBNZ Head Office) and the support he gave to me. A great sense of humour and he got on with everyone. Isobel and I offer you all our sympathy in your loss.

A highly respected colleague from NBNZ, taught me a lot but always remembered for his good humour and gentle nature. A real gentleman. Deepest sympathies to Beryl and family, words can't express my sadness on learning this news.
