To all our friends, Chris passed away early on Friday 14 July 2023 he has left the biggest hole in our hearts.  His battle is over, his determination to live his best life has come to a peaceful end.  We will miss him dearly. 

The Harris Family, Lesley, Lincoln, Pippa, Sara and Walter invited family and friends to celebrate Chris’ life at The Napier War Memorial and Conference Centre, Marine Parade, Napier on Wednesday 19 July 2023 at 2pm.

I only met Chris a few times, at Bonneville and a visit to Napier, but came to depend on him as a very knowledgeable source of all things Bonneville. He always had time to answer all my questions in a very thorough and easily understandable way. His good spirit and can do attitude was an inspiration to me. I am honored to have a Harris Family racing decal on my hot rod here in Canada. Rest easy my friend.
