Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love, in her 80 th year on 16 th July 2023.

So loved mother and mother-in-law of Brent and Indrani, Ross and Helen, Lana and Geoff, grandmother of Aodhan, Shirani, Nathan, Ayanthi; Rebecca, Samuel; Callum, Shee, and Ruby.

Special thanks to all the precious people who have been part of Rae’s life and support in recent times and for the wonderful care provided by Cranford Hospice staff.

A celebration of Rae’s life was held at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Tennyson Street, Napier on Monday 24 th July 2023 at 1pm followed by interment at Wharerangi Cemetery, Cato Road, Greenmeadows.

I knew Rae mostly throughout my late teenage years and young adulthood. She was one of the most kind, gracious, and humble woman I have known with a big and generous servant heart. Always welcoming, always accomodating. She exuded an inner strength which I know she would attribute to her strong faith in God. Rae was a rare treasure and a blessing to many. Much love to Brent, Ross, and Lana and their families as they farewell their wonderful Mum & grandmother today. My thoughts are very much with you all X

Rae you are such a lovely human. Thank you for your kindness and interest that you showed to me and my family over all the years we have been part of the St Paul’s family. Much love Brent, Ross and Lana as you grieve for your precious mum Rachel xx
