Passed away at his home aged 64.

Dearly loved father of Daniella, and Yvonne.

A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Garry was held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Munroe Street, Napier on Tuesday 11 July 2023 at 10.00am. Followed by private cremation.

Dear Garry,
My heart is broken, I never thought for one moment this day would be here so soon.
All the plans you made to come over to England and bring the girls.
What am I going to do on a Sunday morning now.
It was lovely having are chats, putting the world to right, listening to your stories and of course your jokes, biggest one of all was football and cricket, telling me you was in to golf, who would believe that!
I would then hand you over to Dickie, only so much I could listen to about Newcastle United!
I really can’t believe all my brothers are no longer here, I do hope you all get to meet up and have a jolly good party.
Life will never be the same now Garry without you here, look over your girls keep a watchful eye on them.

I’m soo sorry I haven’t had the opportunity for dawn and darryl to introduce me to you , we were so looking forward to having you at our wedding , I promise to look after both Dawn & Darryl when becoming a Rothwell , I know you will always be with us , we will reserve the seats for the Rothwells that are watching from heaven xxxxx

To the big brother who will be so sadly missed by all that knew him always generous ,sometimes to generous like the Christmas you have away my snooker table cause you felt sorry for your mates kids ????
He was proud to serve his country and even prouder to be a marksman for the queen on her trip to Northern Ireland , there are no words that can justify why we all been robbed of you. God bless you. Rip. Love always. X
