Aged 91 years, Jean died peacefully on 7 June 2023 at the Taradale Masonic rest home. Daughter of the late Richard and Frances Barrett, much loved sister of the late Gordon, Dorothy (Dot), Doug and Ian. Aunt and great-aunt to many.

Jean was also a very treasured friend, mother, and grandmother figure to the Kirton and Fleischl families. We will always cherish the role you held in our lives.

A celebration of Jean’s life will be held in The Dunstalls Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street, Napier on Tuesday June 13, 2023 at 2pm.
