Jan passed away peacefully on Sunday 8 th January 2023, with Barry by her side.

Beloved and loving wife to Barry for 61 years.

Treasured daughter of Les and Phyl Cox and sister to Graham (all deceased).

Much loved Mum to Clare and Peter Mitchell, Helen and Mike Estreich, and Vaughan and Rhonda Simpson.

Loving Grandma to Katie, Jonathan, Emma, Simon, Shelby, and Flynn – and their partners.

Loving Great-Grandma to all her great grandchildren.

Loved cousin to Heather Aubin and family (Dunedin).

Many thanks to Summerset in the Bay for caring for Jan and supporting Barry, who never left her side in her final weeks.

Thanks to the team at Dunstall’s and to Linda Paterson for the lovely service.

A private funeral service was held on Thursday 12 th January 2023.

“Mind how you go”.  

I was so sorry to hear of Jan’s passing. She was such a good neighbour to Dad (Searle Kilford) and I they got on well together. I also have fond memories of Jan.
