Passed away suddenly on Monday 24 October 2022.

Childhood sweetheart and much loved husband of Myn.

Devoted and incredibly proud father of Peter, Sara and Kayla.

Loved father in law of Jessica.

Adored Grampa of Isla and Awhi.

Loved son of the late Peter and Mary McGlashan. Son in law of Robin (deceased) and Soe Schofield.

We would love you to join us to celebrate Pete’s life at the Napier Boys High School Hall, Chambers Street, Napier on Saturday 29 October at 1pm followed by an interment at the Western Hills Cemetery.

Heartfelt sympathy Myn and family. Cherish those memories. We are thinking of you all. Lots of love x

A real shock to hear Peter has passed away our thoughts are with you Min and family.
Peter was a close friend as we were neighbours in Darwin Cres and did everything together as kids and we pushed the boundaries many times along with Gary and Kim Mitchell great times. Rest in peace Mate.

So sad to lose such a great man. Pete had a big impact on me as a coach and teacher at NBHS. That school was often a toxic environment but Pete was a voice of reason and positivity. He had a wealth of knowledge and was a great role model for so many kids in his time.

To Myn and Family, I had the pleasure of knowing Pete at various times. I am saddened to hear your loss of Pete. I played football with Pete in the Colenso HS team all those years ago. I enjoyed playing football along side Pete, and later have my Sons Oliver and Andrew come under his positive influence in football and cricket at NBHS.It was a real pleasure to have known Pete who was such a nice person.
