Passed away 18 October 2022 at Summerset in the Bay aged 95 years.  Much loved sister of Julia Gawith(dec), Margaret McKinley(dec), and James Gleeson(dec).  Dearest Aunt to Marion, Allan, and Ronald. We would like to thank all the staff at Summerset and Drs Keryn Powell and Michael Koch from the Taradale Medical Centre for their care of our Aunt. Rest in Peace.

A Requium Mass for Mary will be Held at St Patrick’s Church, Munro Street at 12:05 Tuesday 25 th October followed by the burial at Park Island. 

Rest in peace dear Mary, you were always so lovely and bubbly...hope honey cat was waiting 4 you in heaven.

Happy memories of Mary while working in lingerie dept Napier, previously DIC, then Arthur Barnetts, now Farmers. Her first words to me were "we don't stand around filing our nails we keep busy." I loved her subtle statements.I tried to look busy on quiet days. Mary loved cats and my cat would often visit her when we lived in the Council Units in Carlyle St. Over the years we both moved to different locations in Napier and unfortunately lost contact. I was pleased to attend her Mass today. R.I.P.Mary. . Jo.
