LYONS Muriel : born Norwich England 1925, emigrated to New Zealand 1946. Muriel passed away peacefully in Havelock North 16 July 2022.
Much loved wife of Bernard Lewis Lyons, Wellington & Napier (deceased)
Sister-in-law to Barbara, Noel & Nancy (deceased), Jocelyn (deceased), Geoff (deceased).
Sister of Deryck, Wanganui (deceased).
A wonderful and dedicated Mum and mother-in-law to Jill & Bill Allan, Graham & Gina Sunderland. We will miss her dearly and she will always be in our hearts.
Loving Nan to Jamie, Natalee, Kelly, Great Nan to Kyle, Bella, India, Sienna & Willow, Great-great Nan to Wynter (all in Queensland)

Sincere thanks to all management and staff at Hillcrest Rest Home, Havelock North. Your love and care during Muriel’s last four months of her life was superb.
Muriel’s funeral service to celebrate her life was held in The Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street, Napier on Monday July 25, 2022 at 1pm. All welcome.

Dear Graham, Gina and family. Thank you for giving me the oppotunity to get to know Muriel and be able to assist her when I was needed, I loved hearing her stories about her younger days and her life. I will miss her dearly and send my love and thoughts with you today as I was unable to attend but will be online.

Thinking of you today as you farewell your Mum. It has been a pleasure to know Muriel as our lives have intertwined with your family over so many years.
