On 15 July 2022. Aged 92.

Dearly loved and cherished wife of the late Hec Mayhead. Loved and treasured mother and mother in law of Robert and Tina, Denese and Michael , Adrian and Jill, Corinne and Bill.

Loved and adored by twelve Grandchildren and eight Great grandchildren.

A service for Rosalind was held in the Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street, Napier, on Tuesday 26 July at 11am, followed by interment at Western Hills Cemetery.

It was with great sadness that I read of Rosalind’s passing. It got me thinking back to the fun times we had together especially when Carlie and Hec would go out of town to Lodge meetings, I would go up to the Tawhara Valley home and spend the evening with her before I had children. I remember also picking all the daffodils on the side of the hill to put into vases for the Masonic Ball and in the autumn all the beautiful pink lilies opened up on that hillside, what a fabulous sight. Her love of gardening was there for all to see.
I visited your Mum and Dad several times down here but unfortunately I lost contact after phoning and calling in several times to no answer and then of course Covid hit.
I know she was a great Mum and will be missed by you all, it was a privilege to have known Rosalind and Hec. My deepest sympathy to you all. Jenn
