Born 9 April, 1933. Passed away at Hawke's Bay Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Hastings on June 17, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Treasured daughter of the late Myrtle and David and loved stepdaughter of Rona. Dearly loved wife of Bill. Precious Mother and Mother-in-law of Sharon and Sean Ryan, Alan and Kerry Dick, Lauren Dick-McCann, Shona and Murray Kelleher and Maureen and Darron Curphey. Cherished Grandmother of Jenny, John, Peter, Kate, Thomas, Joseph and Chris Ryan, Mitchell and Taylor Dick, Emma, Lucy, Kieran and Connor McCann, Sarah, Liam and Sam Kelleher and Laura, Daniel and Jack Curphey. Loved Great Grandmother of Caolin, Niamh, Fia, Isla, Edoardo, Milla, Willow, Sonny, Humphry, Herbert and Chloe.
Sister of Brian, Kevin, Gilbert, Kerry, Patrick, Marie, Peter, Bev, Margaret, Pat, Alan and Michael.
Requiem Mass to celebrate Erin’s life was held at St Patricks Catholic Church, 4 Munroe Street, Napier on Wednesday June 22, 2022, at 12:05pm. Followed by a private family cremation. Rosary was be held at the same Church on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 6.00pm.
