Peacefully on Thursday 24 February 2022 at Hawke’s Bay Hospital after a short illness, aged 66 years. Much loved father to Rosemary, and Rowan, grandfather to Fern, Daisy, and Neve and father-in-law to Nirmal, and Sam. Loved brother of John, Robin, and Murray. Treasured son of the late Helen and Victor Heath. Friend of many and custodian of Ahuriri.

 

Grateful thanks to the wonderful ICU staff who cared for Brian so beautifully in his last days.

 

A service to celebrate Brian’s life was held at Knox Church, Hardinge Road, Ahuriri at 11.00am on Wednesday 9 March, 2022.

Tu étais un homme très gentil, plein d'humour, tu as eu confiance en moi et tu m'as ouvert les portes de ta maison lors de mon voyage en Nouvelle-Zélande. Je n'oublierai jamais tes salades de fruits frais du matin, ton amour de la cuisine italienne, tes haricots du jardin et tes recherches sur l'avocat parfait !! Je t'embrasse fort
