Mrs Lyons {Nancy} gosh it was a long time before I could actually call her by her first name. Haha. She had a long history with the Rafferty family. Friends with my parents and she taught my brother Dennis 1960 (d 1976} and my sister Tina 1961 and ten years later she got me. I remember a time when I must have been about 4 and Tina was going to have to miss a class to look after me for an hour but Nancy .said bring her to school. I was decked out in a shirt placed on a bench and had the best time with all the paints!! Haha. Also remember calling on to the family farm just on the way to Opoutama for xmas hols .Later on my parents brought the house next door to Westminster flats which I now own so I kept an eye on tennants so kept Nancy informed. was always a pleasure when she rocked up in her brown mini!! . Speaking of tennants .Christine and Russell in front flat awesome. Christine (also pupil - Tina's era. Hey more history there regarding Mum's working together}. We raised a few glasses of vino in her honour. Well done Nancy. Life well lived. Condolences to all the family xx
