Passed away peacefully on January 3 rd 2022 at Atawhai Rest Home, Taradale. Aged 88 yrs. Much loved mother of John (deceased), Michael and daughter in law Irene. Mary and son in law Robert and Nana to her 5 grandchildren, John, Kate, Anna, Hannah, and Bridgette. Great grandmother to Finn. Sister to the late Mary and Jack and brother to Eddie (Auckland). Long-time friend of Tony. Special thanks to staff at Atawhai for your wonderful care of Kate over the last 2½ years.

Requiem Mass to celebrate Kate’s life was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Osier Road., Greenmeadows, at 11am on Thursday 6 th January 2022. Followed by internment at Wharerangi Cemetery. Rosary was held at the same Church on Wednesday, 5 th  January 2022  at 6.30pm.
