Much loved husband of Diane, much loved father and father in law of Karen and Craig, and Rochelle and Blair, and much loved Grandad of Callum, Kate, Charlotte, and Isabelle and Connor. Loved brother and brother in law of Brian (Bro. Alan), John (deceased), Michael and Fay, Bernard (deceased) and Anne.

David’s life was remembered by his family at a private farewell service on 27 December 2021.

Beautiful memorial service for David today 27 December 2021, a supreme adventure man yet so unassuming. What a full life and so many highlights. He's left a wonderful legacy for his nearest and dearest with so many happy memories to treasure. I have a rosemary shrub at my back door so will always have a constant reminder of him. Rest in Peace David

Saddened to read of Daves passing,I have good memories of him from his time at H&H in Invercargill, and from the odd time he flew me heliskiing in Wanaka.. My sincere condolence to all his family, and from all his former workmates down here.

He was a good friend and a good pilot. I enjoyed his company over our years working together.
