On June 12, 2020 at home with her family.

Partner and soulmate of Adrian Kramer. Step-mother and friend to Dani. Loved daughter of Valda and Alex France (both deceased). Loved daughter in law of Art (deceased) and Valerie Kramer.

Loved sister of Richard and Kerry, Hamish (deceased) and Susan, Andrew and Hisako, and Aunt to Benjamin, Alexander, Morgan, Justin, Campbell, and Jackson.

A special thank you to Jillian. Grateful thanks to all those who have cared for Johanna and those who have supported the family.

A celebration of Johanna’s life was held in the Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street, Napier on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 1.00pm.

In lieu of flowers a donation in Johanna’s memory to Cranford Hospice would be appreciated and can be left at the service or via www.cranfordhospice.org.nz

So sad to have found this notice, Johanna was one my nurses in the Burwood Spinal Unit in 1992. I have a lot of good memories of my time in Burwood and a lot of them revolved her. Condolences to all her family and Friends. Jeff

We are sorry to hear of your loss of Johanna, we remember all the fun times we shared at Burwood Spinal Unit as colleagues & workmates , all the great parties & her great sense of humour. Johanna always had a great sense of style.

Johanna, I had the privilege of working with you at Burwood, we worked bloody hard and had fun doing it. Your compassion balanced by your no-nonsense attitude no doubt made a difference in many people’s lives over the years. Rest easy Joey xx????

My heart skipped a beat when I read of Johanna's death. I trained with Johanna in Ashburton (1978 - 19179) and spent many a good time with her and our class mates Liz, Clare and her very dear friend Jillian. While we stayed in touch for a few years following our lives went in different directions; Johanna has always remained in my thoughts and memories. Rest in peace beautiful. Sincere condolences to her family and Jillian.

Johanna and I began our Nursing Career in Ashburton 1978, we had fun, developing a beautiful friendship, I was luky to know her Mum ,Dad and Brothers. My family loved Johanna. Following my Marriage Johanna spent time getting to know my children often joining us for celebrations , Johanna loved life, children, animals and nursing, she embodied empathy, compassion and friendships. Hanny, Heaven has gained a treasure, I was so sorry to read your Death notice in the Press. To your family, I send love and hugs. Lizzie
