On 21 April 2018 at Princess Alexandra Retirement Village aged 92 years.  Loved husband of the late Ruth.  Dearly loved father and father in law of Anne and Hanson Averill and Chris and Jan Kay.  Grandfather of Rebecca and James, Great grandfather of Zachary and Penelope.  Stepfather of Christabel and Paul Handley, Rosemary and Denis Bell and Anne and Graham Maclaurin.
