Passed into glory, 9 March 2018.
Adored daughter of Doris and the late Henry Wong. Cherished wife of Bing Young. Beloved mother of Michael and Simone, Ryan and Belinda, Koreen and Julian. Dearest sister of Graeme and Helen, Alison and Kevin, Sharon and James. Treasured sister-in-law to Wynne and Tony, Kenny and Anna, William, Charlotte and James. The bestest Ma Ma and Por Por to Elizabeth, Jayden, Naomi, Martin and Ashton.
A celebration of Janice’s life was held at 11.00am on Wednesday 14 th of March at the Salvation Army Citadel, 56 Tait Drive, Greenmeadows, Napier. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to The Salvation Army, Napier Corp. A tribute to Janice or messages to her family can be left at www.dunstalls.co.nz or C/- PO Box 1055, Napier, 4140.

My sincere condolences to Doris, Bing and their families. I Met Janice at Birkenhead Primary School in Standard 4 (1964) when we soon became best friends. We went to Northcote Intermediate for 2 years and when the family returned to Napier we kept in contact by letter writing regularly. As young married wives we continued to write and always swapped recipes with each letter. Later on when our lives became busier with our families our contact was at Christmas - swapping cards and catching up on each other’s families.

I’m saddened to hear this sad news and sorry I will be unable to join you for the celebration of her life tomorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Our condolences to Janice's whanau. Your comfort will be in celebrating having had Janice with you for the precious time given before the Lord called time. She is free from suffering and pain which she courageously endured. It was a privilege to have had her friendship and we shared some lovely moments.
