Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on January 7, 2018. Aged 90 years. Loved daughter of the late Margaret and Leslie Dyett. Loved wife of Pat for 61 years. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Kerry and Alan Dick, Paula and Chris Thomas, John (deceased), Jane and Adrian Hill, Annette and Steve Birnie. Loved Nana of Mitchell, Taylor, Simon, Kelly, Georgia, Lewis, Blake, and Ruby.

Dearly loved sister of the late Bernard Dyett and the late Pauline McKenna and brother in law Peter McKenna. Much loved auntie to her niece and nephews.

A Requiem Mass for Marie was celebrated at St Thomas More, Church, Wycliffe Street, Onekawa on Thursday January 11, 2018 at 11am, followed by interment at Wharerangi Cemetery. A Rosary was recited at St Patricks Church, Munroe Street, Napier on Wednesday January 10, at 7pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to The Heart Foundation would be appreciated.
