We, Harry’s family advise that our darling Dad passed away peacefully at home surrounded with his family and cushioned with their love. Dearest loved husband of Vera Patricia (Pat deceased). Adored father and father-in-law to Anne and Lloyd; Gerald (deceased); Gordon; Bernadette; Dudley and Maree; and Peter. Special dad to Alison. Treasured Grandad to Tracy and Daniel; Ben (deceased) and Jessica. Amazing Poppa to Katelyn and Harry. Sweetheart to Norma and loved mate to “the Girls” Raewyn, Penny, Sharon, Kerry and Trish. Loved by all the Simpson and Smith families.

A service for Harry was held at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Osier Rd, Taradale on Friday January 19, 2018, at 1.00pm, followed by interment at Wharerangi Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cranford Hospice. These can be left in the donations box at the service.
