Passed away peacefully in the arms of his family on July 28th, 2017.
Dearly loved son of Margaret and the late Bill Hastrop. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Val and the late Robert Stevenson. Darling husband of Audrey, loved and cherished for 64 years.
Adored father of Caroline and Amanda. Much loved father-in-law of Bill and Gareth.
Wonderful and much loved Grandpa of William, Sophia, Isobel, Sebastian and Clementine.
A service for John was held at Ormond Chapel, 55 Chaucer Rd, Hospital Hill, Napier, on Thursday 3rd of August at 10.30 am.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
