After a short battle with cancer, Murray passed away peacefully on August 17, 2016, just short of his 78th birthday, and is now resting in peace.
Dearly loved husband and best friend of Pam, loved father of Darren and Nat, Stephen and Hannah, Tracey and Kelvin, granddad of Thomas, Jamie, Emma, Sydney-Rose and Scarlett, brother of  his much loved sister Noeline Kendall (deceased).

Murray is dearly missed.

Special thanks to all the staff in the Duchess wing at Princess Alexandra for their exceptional care and support that really helped to make the last few weeks comfortable.


A celebration of Murray’s life was held at The Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street, Napier on Monday 22 August, 2016 at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Murray’s memory to St Johns Ambulance Transport Division would be appreciated and can be left at the service.
