15 August 1929 – 15 August 2016 Passed away peacefully surrounded by his Wh?nau in Hawkes Bay Regional Hospital on his 87th birthday. Beloved husband of the late Minnie Raupaina – nee Biddle. Father of Peter Richard (deceased), Tamihana, Wiremu, Sharon, Norman Jnr (bee), Hera, Don, Lelie, Margaret, Tatiana, Reuben, and Peter Norman. Grandfather and Great grandfather of his many mokopuna tuatahi and mokopuna tuarua.
Finally reunited with Mum, nanny, nanny nanny after 3 years.
Norman was taken to the farm in the Ruakituri Valley, Wairoa then onto the Erepeti Marae where he lay. His service was held on Thursday 18 August 2016 at 11am. Norman now rests next to his beloved wife Minnie at the Ruakituri Cemetery.
