Dear Jen, Rosa and Isabelle,
I am so sorry to learn of Sam's tragic passing. My thoughts and prayers go especially to you and all of your family. I recall, with a whole lot of pleasure, the day that Sam, Glenn and I went to a lovely little Tapas Bar near your home. It was wonderful, we had such a good visit along with drink and eats! I will be thinking of you Jen in wishing you and your daughters calm, caring and love as you proceed and cope with the new adjustment in your days ahead. Dorothy xo
I will miss you greatly Sam, rest in peace.
just thinking of you all remember the days at Juneau Convention know in Gods strength all is possible thinking of all.
For Janice and Ralph
"I'll lend you for a little time a child of Mine," He said,
"For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he's dead,
It may be six or seven years; or thirty or more,
But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for Me?
He'll gladden you, and shall his stay be brief,
You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief.
"I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.
I've looked the whole world over in my search for teachers true And
from the throngs that crowd life's lane, I have selected you.
Now will you give him all your love, nor think the labour vain,
Nor hate Me when I come to call to take him back again?"
I fancied that I heard them say: "Dear Lord, They will be done!
For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may,
And for the happiness we've known forever grateful stay;
But shall the angels call for him much sooner than we've planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.

Samuel, you were an inspiration to many even those like me who never had the opportunity to meet you. You lived your life to the full and did not let the challenges you faced get in the way of achieving your dreams. Living with a rare congenital disability is not easy and while this is something you and I share in common, you showed so much more spirit and determination not to let anything beat you. Your family must be very proud. My condolences to your beautiful wife, gorgeous daughters, mum, dad and siblings. My thoughts and prayers to out also to your extended family and all those who knew you and are mourning your loss.
Our deepest sympathy to you dear Jan, and to your precious little girls. Many in this part remembering Sam's visits to Canada and of coarse when you once met Sam he found a way into everyone's heart. Our deepest condolences to you all. Heather and I were both at school in the era of Samuel, Matthew and Sarah (if I remember correctly) - and both lived just around the corner from you guys. We're really sad to hear. So sorry for your loss. Samuel was indeed an inspiration - as also are his parents. You are in our prayers. Dave and Heather Mann (with four boys).
Our deepest condolences to Jen, Rosa, Isabelle and the Gibson family. We had the pleasure of meeting Sam during one of their visits to Canada and were truly inspired by his amazing personality and approach to life with the extra challenges he had.
