Passed away peacefully on Thursday October 29, 2015 at Princess Alexandra Resthome. Loved husband of the late Ruth.  Loved Father and father in law of Gordon and Jeanette and the late  Russell.  Grandad of Kirily and Stephen Taylor and Melanie and Grant Nicholls. Great Grandad of Isabelle and Sienna Nicholls. Much loved friend of Maureen Ginders, Sharon and Dennis McLean, Raewynn and Brian McAleer, Wayne and Leonie Miller, and Grant Miller and their families.

A service for Sid was held at The Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street, Napier on Thursday November 5 th at 10.30 am. Followed by a private cremation. Tributes can be left at www.dunstalls.co.nz or posted to The Mallinson Family C/- PO Box 1055, Napier.

Dear family,
I wish to pass on my respects. Late as they are I was devastated to learn of Cyril passing away and even worse missed his funeral. I worked with Cyril for several years as I worked at A1 salvage in the office for twelve years. He was an amazing man and with his passion for Morris minors was similar to mine with Volkswagen beetles. I recall the happy times and also had a giggle about when he was in Napier hospital for his major operation and Murray the tow truck driver and I took him cream doughnuts and hid them in the back of his little cabinet so his wife wouldn't see. It was too cute. My thoughts are with you as you have farewelled this amazing man. I would love to know where is ashes are if in a public place to visit? Thanking you Nicola
