Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous fight right to the end on Monday, October 5, 2015, aged 67 years.
Loved and loving husband of Joan, "Hawkes Bay Champion" Dad to Megan, Mike and Michelle, and Rachael and James and adored Poppa of Tessa, Jake, Sophie, Hamish, Scarlett and Isabelle.
The family would like to thank the incredible team at Hastings Hospital in ICU who have cared for Jon and helped us as a family through this devastating journey.
As per Jon's wishes a private service has already been held.
