(formerly Milne, née Smith) born in Crosby, England, June 1, 1937, died Taradale, Napier, New Zealand, September 28, 2015.

A celebration of Sheila's life, was held on Saturday, October 3 at 11am at All Saints Church, corner Church and Puketapu Roads, Taradale.

Her family and many friends in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, America and around the world know that she leaves us, and the communities she served so well, that much better for having her in our lives.

So much laughter. So much love. You’ll never walk alone.

Maureen we were really sorry to read of Shelia's passing. you did so much together, and sister's become much closer as you get older.

I was so glad that I got to meet Sheila in April, although I felt that I knew her for a long time, from Carol and Dad. Dad so enjoyed her visit when she was in the U.S., and she never neglected to send him birthday and Christmas cards. She was a lovely lady, inside and out.

Sheila was a true and loyal friend in every respect. She was supportive and kind. She was trustworthy and dependable. And she was such enormous fun. I am lost without her. This world is a far better place because she was here and the impact that she has had on so many people is staggering. She lived well and touched so many all over the world. Her loss is gigantic. I am so very grateful that she was such a huge part of my life for so long. I feel blessed by her friendship and her love. I will miss her deeply for the rest of my life. My extreme condolences to you all, her dear family. She adored each and every one of you and was so very proud of you all.

So very sorry to hear that Sheila has passed away and send our condolences to you all. Sheila and I had some fun times when we lived in. So sorry to hear the sad news of Sheila's passing. Our thoughts are with you all I especially have fond memories of times spent in West Kirby with her and Susan and Mandy We were both in the same nursing home (and room) when you were born John I had my daughter first and then you arrived. On behalf of Ralph Rush and our family please accept our deepest sympathy at this sad time. Sheila was such a special person and we feel blessed to have have had so many wonderful times with her. We will cherish those memories and the times spent together.
Sheila has been the light of my father, Ralph's, life for the past six years and even though they haved lived many miles apart they kept in close contact through weekly phone calls and lengthy visits. She was a most important part of his life and ours. She will be greatly missed by all.

We’re aware of the hole in so many lives created by Sheila’s passing. If possible, we’d like the former short message left on your site, to be read allowed. Her family and close friends are grieving. We’d just like them to know how cherished Sheila was and is in lives far away from New Zealand.

Her passing allows her now to be in a better place. Even though she can’t be with us in person, she is in our hearts.

To Mo,her children and grandchildren and to so many others whose lives she touched, we offer our condolences. She left us too soon.

All Inner Wheel members will remember Sheila as a fun loving lady who could make us laugh. She will be sadly missed by her Napier club friends and members throughout the country. Time to rest peacefully now Sheila. My loving thoughts are for her family at this sad time.
