Peacefully at her daughters home. Devoted wife of the late Charles. Mother of Jan and the late Stuart Mackie, Raewynne and Gary Quinn, Alison and Doug Crutch, and Debbie Wallace. Loved Grandmother of James, Kate, and Elliot; Sonya, and Greg; Maddison; Lauren, Jemma, and Jasper. A much loved Great-grandmother of 6.

The Family wish to thank Cranford Hospice for their great care.

A service will be celebrated at All Saints Church, Puketapu Road, Taradale, Napier on Saturday 15 th November 2014 at 1pm. In Lieu of flowers a donation to Cranford Hospice would much be appreciated. We remember Doris with much love as a warm, friendly, caring and fun-loving colleague at Taradale High School. She and Chas invited us to their home a number of times and we always received a very warm welcome and great hospitality. She was a wonderful person. Regretfully, we were unable to attend your service for Doris as we away that weekend.
