Passed away peacefully at home on May 11, 2014.

Loved wife of the late Dennis. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Mark and Michelle, Lance and Melissa, and the late Bridget. Loved and treasured Nana of Renee, Hayden, Christopher, Bryce, Ethan, Blake; great grandchildren Recaro, Angel, and Tyler.

A celebration of Anne’s life was held at The Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street, Napier on Wednesday May 14, 2014.  All messages to the Cross Family, c/- PO Box 1055, Napier 4140.

Dearly loved daughter of the late Marion and Leslie Workman. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Ian and Margaret Workman, John Workman, Judith Sellar and Dan Lavery. Much loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Will be sadly missed.

To my dearest auntie Anne,

A soul of kindness filled with love
is now at Home with God above.
Her heartprints left on those behind
have brightened the core of mankind.

The sun still rises through the grief
and, in its brilliance, is relief;
each ray is an angelic “hi”
to ease the tears we long to cry.

Each memory, held tight within -
when replayed again and again -
reminds us of the precious gift
she gave to those needing a lift.

Although we pause to mourn and grieve
because God chose her soul to leave,
we see her smile in clouds of cotton -
through heart prints nevermore forgotten.

You will always be in my thoughts
