After a courageous battle Laraine passed away peacefully on January 28, 2014 at Cranford Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Cherished wife for 54 years of Norm. Adored mother and mother-in-law of Michelle and Kevin Milne; Sheree; Tracey; and Dallas. Bestus  nana of her 10 grandchildren. Loved Nannie of 2 but nearly 3 great grandchildren. 

Thank you to the staff of Cranford Hospice for the wonderful care of Laraine over the last months.

A service was held to celebrate Laraine’s life at The Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street Napier on Saturday February 1, 2014. Followed by interment at the Western Hills Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers a donation to Cranford Hospice would be appreciated at cranford.org.nz  Tributes may be left at our website www.dunstalls.co.nz . Dear Norm and family. Just found out the very sad news of Laraine's passing. Ian and I send our love to all of you. Laraine was a wonderful woman, so warm and friendly. We will treasure the memories of the fun times we shared with both of you in Egypt, Turkey and Queenstown.

Words really are empty at a time like this
When the one you have loved, already you miss
Take the time to reflect, as you sit in your chair
And remember with love, the great times you all shared
Laraine took your love with her as she passed through life's door
But behind her she left her love evermore.
