Passed away suddenly on January 12, 2014. Beloved wife of Steve for 51 years. Adored mother and mother in law of Marcia and Gary Heathcote; Rachel Griffiths; Susan Slater; Kim Slater and Glenda Wiffin; and Beau Slater. Best Granny in the world to Dayna; Jared, Millie, Sebastian, and Romy.

Requiem Mass was celebrated for Maureen at St Patrick’s Catholic Church Munro Street, Napier on Thursday January 16, followed by interment at The Western Hills Cemetery. Tributes may be left at our website www.dunstalls.co.nz . Or posted to the Slater Family, c/- PO Box 1055, Napier 4140.

Sorry to hear about Maureen's passing. It came as quite a shock to both Deb and myself. We have fondest memories of Maureen from our last visit to Napier. Our most sincere condolences to both Uncle Steve and family. Jan and Deb.

Uncle Steve and family, please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of Aunt Maureen. We have been away and on returning were told the very sad news. A very loving, caring person, who will be sadly missed.
