It is with great sadness to hear of the loss of David. For myself, David had a huge impact on my life as an employer from Prebensen Pipeline in the early 1980’s and as a mentor, from which I will always remember and value. My deepest sympathies to you Pat and the family. Kind regards Craig Verschaffelt and family.
Thinking of you, Pat and family.
Dave served his city well and in The Faraday Centre has left a legacy that will delight young people for generations to come. First and foremost a family man, he will be missed
greatly.
Warm regards, Barbara Arnott
So sad to hear of David’s passing.
I only met him recently when volunteering at the Faraday Centre. David and Pat were an inspiration of what can be done.
Although I have now left Napier I was there long enough to realise that David had done a fantastic job in making Napier the city it is today. Thank you David.
To conclude....They don’t make them like David anymore.

I have volunteered alongside you at the Faraday Centre for the last couple of years and you were always laughing smiling and engaging with your stories. Your legacy will always be the beating heart of the Faraday Centre and we will miss you not being with us as it goes into the next 40 years. A great loss to us. Fiona
